Get it Right from the Start
Most business ventures fail before they even begin and that’s why formulating a sound business plan first is critical for success. Whether starting a business or investing in one, I help clients develop a complete plan and can assist in specific areas of concern. I can also successfully connect my clients with other trusted professionals necessary in protecting and growing their investments.
Practice What You Preach
At Culver CPA Group I specialize in small business accounting and tax, restaurant accounting and consulting, real estate investment and management issues, and personal IRS representation and tax problem resolution. I have been a landlord/real estate investor (both commercial and residential) since 1980. I am also a degreed Executive Chef with a varied and extensive hospitality background. My practical experience in these and other areas has put me on the forefront of related tax law, accounting, and management issues.
I believe that life is a learning process. The more we understand about ourselves and the world around us, the greater our appreciation and enjoyment of life. Besides my 40 hours of continuing professional education, and personal development projects, I have the following educational background.
- A.A. Culinary Arts/ Hospitality Management, Grand Rapids Community College
- B.S.B.A. Aquinas College, Suma cum laude
- Graduate: SEA Education Association, Woods Hole, MA
- Current: Graduate Studies GVSU, Business Management and Taxation, Grand Rapids, MI
A Final Thought
I am sincerely indebted to my family, friends, clients, and associates for making life interesting and fulfilling. I am especially thankful for the wisdom and patience of my wife Karen and daughter Miranda.
If you own a small business, restaurant, or piece of real estate, let’s talk. Paul specializes in working with area restaurants, real estate investors, and small businesses throughout the greater Grand Rapids area and west Michigan.
