A Team Environment is Key
I believe that in order to provide excellent service with compassion and integrity, a team effort is essential, with parallel values and goals. My years of experience and education have allowed me to develop the skills, both technically as well as in management and mentoring, to support the right atmosphere for that team environment to flourish. The result is an experience for our clients that meets, and often surpasses, their expectations.
Professional Development
In an age of ever-changing financial & tax laws and circumstances, it’s crucial to keep abreast of the most current events to best support our clients, as well as the team here at Culver CPA Group. In order to do this, I consistently try to engage in individual as well as team trainings and seminars throughout the year.
As far as my own educational accomplishments go, I graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree with emphasis in Accounting from Grand Valley State University’s Seidman School of Business in west Michigan. I also have Masters studies in Taxation in the Seidman graduate program at Grand Valley State University. Additionally, I am an Enrolled Agent with Internal Revenue Service, which means I can offer IRS representation to taxpayers. Enrolled agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. In order to maintain this status, I must adhere to ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years. This status also means I am unrestricted as to which taxpayers I can represent, what types of tax matters I can handle, and which IRS offices I can represent clients before.
A Final Thought
My goal, both professionally and personally, is to develop relationships with clients and with our team that promote growth and financial success for everyone involved. If you have any questions about your current financial status, give us a call today.
